Edmund P. Butler's practice is concentrated in Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Estate Litigation.
From 1964 to 1994 he served as a partner in a general practice firm in Philadelphia with his father and brother. Most of his practice involved Estate and Trust issues, although he did a considerable amount of residential real estate work. During this period he served as a member of the Board of Editors of The Shingle, a publication of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and wrote frequently for the magazine. In 1994, he moved his practice to Blue Bell, as a sole practitioner.
In 2014, he moved to the offices of Salvo Rogers & Elinski, where he continues to concentrate on Estate and Trust matters.
Mr. Butler has served as legal counsel and was a board member of the Springfield Township Historical Society, was on the Board of the PTA at the school his children attended, and has been involved with a number of charities. He has a great interest in history and writes an occasional short story or article for publication. He is a licensed private pilot.
Mr. Butler and his wife Margery reside in Erdenheim. They have three children and four grandchildren.
